Levin Library

4-7-2013 005Our Levin Library is an invaluable resource to our students, of all ages. Its holdings range from Young Adult Fiction to Holocaust studies to a selection of DVDs on Jewish themes.

For family fun, we have board games, such as Apples to Apples Junior, Jewish Edition. Or, how about cooking a Jewish meal using one of our cookbooks located in our Family Living section. Jewish art projects are always good on a rainy day; we have several books with project ideas for kids.

If movies are more your style, check out: Boy In The Stripped Pajamas, Schindler’s List, and Driving Miss Daisy as well as many others. We also have two lecture series: The Beginning of Judaism and The Old Testament, all donated by Richard Rubenstein.

Jewish content novels are available, including: The Red Tent, Call It Sleep, and Kaaterskill Falls. You can also find books about the Holocaust and survivors, Jewish biographies, Jewish poetry, and many choices for children.

The library is staffed on Sunday mornings during religious school hours. Or members can check out books and DVD’s on your own during Temple business hours.
