Youth Activities

WOW! What a great year this has been for Jewish learning, crafts, food and fun at NRT! We created some fantastic mosaic Jewish art, traveled from slavery to Freedom at our first Sunday School Seder and dramatized the meaning of “holiness.” With our Prime Time Players we saw Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden meet Grouch Marx! And who can forget the chocolate chip latkes, or the Latkes Ole and the latkes with brandy butter sauce or our Italian Oneg with chocolate ravioli! Oh yes, then there was our Sunday morning mystery box for Passover and our Torah parade on the last day of Sunday school.

One of our very special times at NRT is our monthly Family Worship Service.  At one service our younger children put on an original musical called Noah and the Unicorn.  We also did Torah Learning Service where our post Bar/Bat Mitzvah students led the service and read from the Torah. By having the children participate in the service through a fun learning activity we are showing them that worship service is not just for adults.

At the NRT, we believe that Youth Programs can be for all ages, crazy,  fun and Jewish all at the same time.
