2nd Annual Tikkun Leil Shavuot: A Special Night of Torah Study

Repairing the World One Letter of Torah at a Time

Shavuot is the Jewish Festival for the celebration of “Matan Torah,” the giving of Torah by revelation at Sinai. We are responsible for “Kabbalat Torah,” receiving Torah and putting it into action in our daily lives. Traditionally, Jews begin the festival by studying topics of Torah on Erev Shavuot in a format known as Tikkun Leil Shavuot, a gathering to study and learn into the night.

The program is free but we require you to RSVP to the Temple office by no later than May 26.

6:00 pm   Erev Shavuot Service with Becky and Nathan
6:30 pm   Italian Dairy Supper
7:00 pm   Study Session: “What Happened to the Tablets that Moses Smashed?”
7:30 pm   Cheesecake
